chris and i took advantage of the long weekend and the cheap jetlbue tix to fly to the dominican republic. our trip was a much-appreciated bit of relaxation mixed with just enough excitement. a whale-watching tour and a beachside horse ride balanced out our hours of reading on the sand and playing in the waves.
